The second generation doodle (F2) still produces a variety of coat types. In our last litter of eight there was one pup that resembled a Lab at 8 weeks... her name is Shadow.. she can be seen on our info page having fun in the swimming pool. Shadow was 5 and a half months old when this picture was taken...her coat is shorter and she does shed slightly.
Finn, an F2 doodle (also on the info page) has a shaggy.. non shedding coat..he lives in Vero Beach and his family finds him to be
extremely intelligent and fun loving. He gets along with the children and the cats and other dogs.
Our latest addition is "Caesar" ..he was bred by Fran Saxon (The House of Doodles).
Caesar has a fleece coat and will be bred to a female of the same coat type. Caesar is a 3rd generation doodle. His Sire was Cody (on our info page) and Cody's Sire is "Jasper" a first generation doodle and Jasper's Sire is "Sebastian " a pure bred Standard Poodle.
A lot has been said about coat types and this may be an important factor when purchasing a puppy.
Doodles have a wonderful disposition ... they
bond very quickly and learn how to please
you in an amazingly short period of time.
The Labradoodle is the most intelligent breed of dog I have ever worked with..no matter what type of coat they have. Check out Harley on the info page... look at the love in his eyes for his best friend.
We welcome all inquires
